| Q: “What kind of telephone system do I need to be able to use the Production Wizard?” |
| A: Almost every dedicated phone system will work, as long as it has a Music On Hold (“MOH”) port or an option card The most common phone system is called a KSU, Key-System-Unit, which generally has three or more incoming lines and several extensions. The MOH port is usually located within the "main equipment case/box" where all your phone lines connect. A PBX system is similar, but typically found at much larger facilities such as hotels, hospitals, or other location with many extensions and outside lines. Without exception, PBX systems accomodate messages on hold.

| Technology |
| Q: How do these messages reach my office? |
| A: Our on-hold digital playback device normally shares an existing analog fax line (the fax machine will not “know” it is there). We deliver your on-hold production through this line, which normally takes about 10 minutes. Most of our clients schedule their production updates to occur during non-business hours so even this brief use of the line does not interfere with daytime fax traffic.
