DALLAS, Texas - Radiologix, Inc., a leading national provider of diagnostic imaging services, has added On-Hold Media Group (OHMG) service to 22 of its locations across the country.

Radiologix will use a new technology for producing and delivering on-hold messages that allows clients to update content and music on a virtual real-time basis via the Internet-based user interface. This unique approach, called the "Production Wizard," was developed by OHMG.

"We wanted to find a way to deliver important, useful information to our patients during the brief time they may be on hold," said William Franz, a Radiologix Vice President. "Using the Production Wizard from OHMG gives us the ability to customize content and provide patients with directions, basic instructions, perhaps reassure them if they're a anxious and connect with them in a personal way. We have complete control of our message content, from script approval to assembling productions for each location."

"This was an ideal fit for a company such as Radiologix, which has imaging centers in multiple locations, wanting to maintain corporate continuity throughout the country in their respective imaging centers, yet also needing market-specific information at each site. In just a few minutes, they can use their secure passwords to access the Production Wizard, create a new production, and have it downloaded to the phone system at any or all sites over standard analog phone lines. Additionally, the OHMG Production Wizard allows clients to select up to six voice tracks along with a background music track from over 200 selections, and then determine the date and time for the message to update. Multiple productions can even be created and stored with download times set days, weeks, and months in the future (up to five years out).
